"Azkadellia's Rage" - Tinman (G)
I've been watching the Tinman mini-series on SciFi starring my should be lover Zooey Deschanel. I felt the urge to write a poem and did so about Zooey's character DG's sister Azkadelia, played by Kathleen Robertson.

Great series, long, but great.

Winds whisper lilting phrases
Past the ears of a gentle girl
Standing high on a frozen citadel
Eyes hazy with memories
From a past that’s locked deep,
In a mind scattered between
Darkness and light.

Tears fall solemnly
Down paths already scarred
On rosy cheeks whipped
By cold gusts and harsh breathing;
The cost of her forgotten childhood,
Of the way she was before
When her smile was true.

A gentle girl now a ruling tyrant
With no pity for the weak,
But an iron fist and steely gaze;
And as she clenches her fists
A scream flows swiftly and violently
Through the freezing air
As her sorrow can never be overcome.
